Article Ideas for Promoting Your Baby Products

Your website looks great; your baby products are simply adorable and they're priced right for the value. Yet you could still use a little more business, right? More and more business owners are using articles to market their web sites.

Do you have a newsletter or blog? If not, you should and then you should use articles to promote your website and your baby products. Articles are a great tool to remind past, present, and future customers about your products or services.

There are a number of ways to let the articles work for you. Share your knowledge as it relates to baby safety and making life simpler for parents. Present yourself as the baby expert and link your website at the end of your articles.

Here are some topics to get your started car seat safety, SIDS, comparison of baby bottle systems, making your own baby food, selecting a baby crib or a stroller, baby shower gift giving, necessities vs. wants, when Mom and Dad don't agree on child rearing, how to handle a colicky baby, help for the older sibling or what about Fido the dog?

Your articles need to inform; not sell. Of course ultimately you want to increase sales, but if your articles read like an ad, you'll lose credibility immediately. Help the new parents and they will want to do business with you.

Many work-at-home-mom networks and forums have specific days when you can post articles and inspiration. An article informing parents on the importance of checking for recall information on baby products would certainly help promote you and your website.

Promote your articles where your target market hangs out. There is no shortage of SAHM and WAHM sites. Many would love to have your article content on their website. It is truly a win/win relationship.

Article Marketing - 4 High Impact Steps to Explode Your Article Marketing

While there are various ways to generate website traffic, most webmasters are focusing their efforts on article marketing as it is considered the most uncomplicated traffic-generating technique, yet it is the most powerful in terms of augmenting the number of online visitors and pulling up the search engine ranking.

1. Be familiar with the terms of different publishing sites. There are hundreds of article submission sites in the internet today and all of them have unique set of rules and regulations. Before you sink your teeth into this technique, make sure that you understand each publishing site's terms to keep your articles from being rejected.

2. Make your articles search-engine friendly. Your articles must be optimized so they can easily be found when your potential audience search for your content. It is important that you write articles around keyword and key phrases that are being searched for if you want your articles to be widely read.

3. Your articles must be reader-friendly. To increase your readership, it is crucial that you have the ability to provide your readers with useful, interesting content. By doing so, you will not only please your readers but you will also increase the chances of your articles being republished and widely distributed online.

4. Make sure that your articles are original. One of the reasons why articles are being rejected by publishing sites is because of duplicate content. To save you from revising and re-writing your articles, make sure that they not copied from other sites.

Exploding your article marketing campaign is easy. As long as your articles are publisher-friendly, search-engine-friendly, and reader-friendly, you can be assured that your click through rate will soar high.

Amplify Your Article Marketing Efforts By Helping The Reader

Article marketing is a really great way to build an online business. If you have tried other methods like ppc or ezine advertising and still have not experienced any success I seriously suggest that you consider article marketing.

Let us first take a look at why this is such a great method of advertising your business. I think that the primary reason is that today with the increase in spam and advertising messages people are not as receptive to blatant advertising as before. Many years ago to be a top marketer all you needed to do was advertise your website using ppc. Today the ppc search engines are so competitive and it really is a lot more difficult to make a profit.

As the famous sales trainer Jeoffrey Gitomer once said people buy from people that they like, know and trust. With article marketing people are most likely to have read several of your articles before they click through to your website. This means that by the time that they click through to your site they already like, know and trust you. Consequently they are ready to buy from you. With other forms of marketing you need to do the hard work first.

Now the best way to maximize these results is to write articles where you help the reader. Share a slice of your expertise without giving the farm away. The more useful information that you give your reader the more likely that they will subscribe to your newsletter and become a paid customer. I find that 250 to 350 word articles work the best. This is so that they are short enough and do not get lost before they have an opportunity to click on my resource box.

Finally, make sure that you have your unique selling proposition in your resource box. This will be your 30 second elevator pitch that will make the reader want to click through to your website.

Niche Marketing - Tips to Help You Find a Profitable Niche Market

There is lots of material online that talks about the pros of niche marketing and also on how to find a profitable niche online. Hunting down small online niches could prove to be profitable especially to small businesses. While this is true, many still overlook the need to expand their search to uncover new unexplored market niches.

Anyone who has done some form of niche marketing would immediately know that keyword research is crucial for any success. Overture, GoodKeywords and WordTracker are some useful free tools people often use. Some have tried using Google to search and verify the amount of keyword competition for targeted keywords. Many have the impression that once this is done and the niche found, they can quickly build their site around them and income will start pouring in.

Sad to say, that is not the end of your work. To really break into profitable niches, you have to research deeper. Fortunately, there are tools to assist you. If you have never come across or have the slightest inkling about using them, you are missing out big time on potential gold niches. Here is a list of 3 ways to expand your search:

1. Make sure of online auctions like eBay to get an idea of the hot sellers. You would also discover popular categories and from observations gather what are the possible sub-niches you could get into. From the bid prices, volume of sales and other market data from eBay, you would be able to study the market and find hot sellers. Do not miss out the auctions when you do niche marketing.

2. Other websites such as social networking sites like Groups Google and Meet Up are fantastic places also to find out what are your prospects' interests. Even in forums, read what people are writing about and see what the categories that get the most attention are. This can really reveal a lot about niches you may have missed out previously.

3. Once you have a rough idea of a probable general niche, you would need to narrow your search. Read online news on the subject and see what are the news that get the most views. Go through websites on the subject such as article directories like EzineArticles to get an idea of what topic is getting the most reads.

As a rule of thumb, as long as a website enjoys high traffic and discusses a wide range of topics are excellent places where you can use as a powerful niche marketing resource. Other than traditional keyword research tools, exercise some creativity and be adventurous in looking around for more market research grounds. Coming up with new methods of researching can take you to new undiscovered niches that other niche marketing experts may have overlooked.

Take a look at a powerful tool mentioned in my income blog that can be used to build income pumping websites based on these topics discovered from your niche marketing research.

Article Marketing or How to Get More Backlinks

Well, what is article marketing? It is one of the simplest ways of promotion on Internet. The principle is so: you are writing a good article, publishing it in one of the big article directories with the link to your blog, and then others copy it on their sites. Thus, if article is good, youll receive a big quantity of backlinks on your blog.

Many people dont use this way to promote and vainly! Using this method with a good links anchor text could increase your link popularity in times and the main - absolutely free. For example, if youre writing about digital cameras, post what is better to choose in this area and what advantages does it have and at the end of the article put the link to your blog with needed anchor text. Such link will be appreciated by search engines as no one other.

Im using this method for about 2 months and get a huge quantity of backlinks and visitors thanks to it. Where is it better to submit your articles? Ill try to show you.

The leader is - EzineArticles. This is the best and most trafficable article directory with excellent support and fast approvement. After posting of 10 articles youll be given platinum status and if your articles are correspond to their terms, you will be appropriate the status of the expert. EzineArticles give me from 2 to 10 unique visitors per day.

The second place in my list is ArticleDashBoard. It also has fast improvement of articles, Page Rank 6, but it gives small quantity of visitors on my blog. Though some of my articles are popular on this portal and many people copy them with my link.

The third is GoArticles. Page Rank 5, Alexa rank 6362 (incomparably with Ezines-608). Convenient and clear but no more than. Anyway it is useful to submit there for good link ranging.

For attraction of readers to your articles you will need to know some tips to use. Here is what I recommend:

* Keywords is your way to popularity. Try to choose small quantity inquires, instead of Digital Camera use Digital Camera Market Review.

* Good title will attract readers to click on it. Think out a clinging title, but dont try to deceive.

* Submit your articles in different categories. Your link should be everywhere.

* Change the description of the source. Use as much keywords as possible in it, but dont go too far.

Of course good article will attract more readers, but many of them will even not read it to copy to their blog. Everything depends on description and title.

I think that article marketing has a big future. Do not neglect of this way, the way of good increasing of your popularity. It will be returned a hundredfold.

Making Money - Do You Need Thousands of Dollars as Investment?

When making money is the goal, we often look upon those around us who have been very successful during their lives and build a rags to riches lifestyle with their hard work and perseverance. However, these people did not just work hard, they were blessed with great ability to think and plan each and every action in advance after weight pros and cons.

You do not require thousands of dollars as an investment, building your wealth slowly but steadily will yield better results with fewer risks. You will find yourself beginning slowly but gaining a strong foothold of what you are doing and an increase in speed at which money comes in will change.

If you are consciously planning to become well off within a specified period of time, you need to lock yourself up (not literally, this means you really need focusing on this job). It is advised by all that it is necessary you do not keep all eggs in one basket. Invest small sums of money in multiple types of investment, if one goes bad you are assured that the other will do marginally better and gain you money, so your finances are not hit by the one which went bad.

If you are into internet marketing, it would be ideal not to market for just one product, if you are already reaching out to an audience try and put in more options for your customers so that they can choose and pick according to what they can afford instead of rejecting your offer all together.

Investment need not be a large one always, if it begins at a measly amount of dollars 10, it is fine especially for all those who are starting out new in this area, once you have created a plan of action and learned a lot about the process, you are sure you cannot go wrong any where, you should try in with larger amounts of money as investment.

Putting in small amounts, does not put in risk of large losses, instead, you can even take your teenager with you and think out strategies how you can succeed in making money from this small investment. There is a lot of gain from fresh brains and fresh ideas, you will also be teaching your youngster a lot about money management and how business can give great profits without having to think twice about the money you have put in.

So where are you most likely to find opportunities for making such cheap investments and also gaining a lot out of it. The answer is the best opportunities of making money are on the Internet than anywhere else. Putting effort and pleasure into one basket was never so easier. Money too comes in slowly but steadily rather than surprising you with the amount it will slowly grow and bring a smile to your face.

Don't Waste Linking Opportunities By Misusing Link Exchanges

Only a couple of years ago the Link Exchange was quite new and an excellent place for savvy webmasters to exchange quality links with those who were like-minded. Many Link Exchanges, mostly based on the original few, have sprung up promising an unending stream of reciprocal links with as many sites as you dare dream. Theres no problem with this however, they must be used correctly to be of much benefit.

Firstly, its no great secret that the majority, if not all, who practice reciprocal linking do so in order to improve their PR (Google Page Rank), which in turn, can have a definite effect on ones rankings in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages). The actual degree of this effect is anyones guess as Google have always been extremely secretive about anything regarding the algorithms or components, which decide the SE ranking of any given website (or page for that matter).

PR alone will not do it for you, but I have seen too much evidence that it does definitely help your rankings when you have a good PR provided that the links pointing to your site are from related websites (i.e. sites with similar content whose visitors would be interested in your site). An incoming link is seen as a recommendation or vote of confidence from a website, so the higher the PR of the PAGE the link is from (not just the Home or Index page), the more weight the recommendation from that website carries. So, the upshot is, PR is the reason, result and purpose behind webmasters spending so much time, money and resources building reciprocal and/or incoming links.

To make your efforts and costs more efficient, you need to ensure that you use the Link Exchanges correctly. When you dont, you waste so much time (and that of those you request links from) and you also blow your chance for a good, high PR link a little later down the track.

Most webmasters, when they first list with an Exchange, generally have either a low PR or none at all. Many then proceed to request links from as many sites as their membership allows. Sadly, far too many of them request links from websites, which are not related in the slightest way however, thats not why were here today. Id be flogging a dead horse if I took up that particular issue (again!). Simply, it seems to me there are still millions out there who, for some reason, think a link from a Lung Cancer website will assist their Poker/Gambling site in the SERPs or a link from a Diet website will help their Real Estate site! I cant understand the mentality

But I digress (as is one of my faults), back to the issue at hand. Obviously, when requesting links from other sites, you need to take account of the PR issue, as it stands at that time. If you have no PR or a PR1, there is not much chance of being granted a reciprocal link from a PR5 site or page. The problem is, if you request such a link while youre still in the low PR bracket, that site will forever be listed as requested but rejected, you dont get a second chance once your PR improves. So, six months later, when you have a PR4 (through much sensible and hard work), you cant ask again, the chance is gone.

When you are a PR1 or 2, only request links from sites with PR1, PR2 and maybe some PR3 pages. Dont waste you chance by trying to get high PR sites to link to you while you offer no benefit to them. What they are effectively doing by linking to sites that are much lower than themselves, is giving away some of their PR Power to you and getting nothing in return (actually a negative effect) from you.

By the same token, having said this, its wise when you receive requests from sites that have a PR lower than yours that you dont ALWAYS disregard them. Take a look at the website, consider their Alexa traffic ranking, a good amount of traffic is an indication that the site owner is getting hits. Even if its via Traffic Exchanges, it proves at least that theyre serious about BUILDING their website to be a worthwhile resource and this, to me at least, means PR will come and when it does, you will already have your link from them. Its basically a term investment.

Have a look at their Link pages and see if they are linking sensibly or stupidly. If theyre using a Directory program, my advice is to give them a miss. They cant possibly be only linking with related content if they have a huge list of different website categories, can they? Simply, take into consideration the entire look and feel of the site. It doesnt take long and youll be surprised how easily and accurately youll be able to predict which ones will end up with higher PRs in the next Google update, from which you will benefit. Its also worth considering that if a website is banned, those sites that link reciprocally can be affected negatively by association. Yes, its true!

As with everything else, building a website is a long, continual and time-consuming endeavour, which happens slowly (contrary to what some SEO gurus or experts promise). There are no short cuts, in fact, the Search Engines are now very aware of all the so-called tricks and as far as linking is concerned, a large jump in the amount of incoming links over a short period, especially multiple links from higher PR sites could bring your site under suspicion of using unnatural techniques, such as purchasing high PR links etc, which could get you banned but at best, certainly wont help your cause.

Patience is the key to achieving your website goals and if you dont have it, and are tempted to try the short-cuts or go mad trying to collect as many links as possible from all and sundry, youll end up much further behind, rather than progress with any great speed. Its true that your PR will increase with links from unrelated sites but these unrelated links can only hurt your chances in the SERPs. Google themselves explain this in their info pages.

Always remember what the ORIGINAL purpose for linking was and why it was practiced and why incoming links were, and still are, valued by the Search Engines. A link from a related site is a vote of confidence that they feel their visitors will benefit from your content and hence, evidence that your website is considered to be of value in a specific category. How can a recommendation from a totally unrelated website carry any weight at all? Of course, it cant and where these types of links exist, it smacks of linking to boost PR without any thought given to the value of the website to the visitors (who are the Search Engines customers).

This is why linking correctly is so important, even though the motivations have been perverted over recent years into a free for all of link requests from unrelated sites, which frankly, are almost as annoying as spam to me.

What to Keep in Mind About Keywords

When building a new website, its really not enough to just whip up a site and let it be, hoping for hoards of traffic to arrive and purchase your products and services. In order to get indexed by the search engines, and in order for people to find our websites, we must generate good keywords. Once we create a list of keywords that people might use to find our sites, there are a few more important steps to consider.

Its not just about generating a list of keywords and using those keywords on your site. We have to find the right keywords, and by that, I mean keywords that are closely related to your sites content. If you own a website about how to make a good residual income online, then use specific keywords such as residual income that people are likely to search. Once youve found keywords like this that are likely to be searched though, you have to do your research, and look for terms that are not the most highly searched and popular, but that people might still search. You can do this using one of the many keyword search tools available on the net today. This will tell you how popular or not your search term is. If you choose keywords say above 2000 searches per month and less than 30000 searches per month, you are probably choosing a decent keyword that can get you the results you seek. Make sure you dont just choose keywords once and leave them alone forever. Every month or so, check your keywords and their popularity, and make modifications as required.

Next, you want to include those keywords in various parts of your website so that the search engines can find them when they spider your site. The first place to consider using your keywords is right in the title tag headline of your site. Do this for all of your website pages, not just the main page. You can also place your keywords in your header, alt, anchor tags, bold and italic tags, body, URLs, file names, and meta tags. Be careful not to plug up your site with these keywords though, or you will get penalized by the search engines and get the opposite result of what you want. Its more important to have solid, quality content on your site than it is to pack your site with keywords. Its good to repeat your keywords, but not too much. You only have to use your keywords once in each tag, and especially near the top of your pages. You can actually use the words repeatedly with the body text, as long as youre not over-doing it, and the words are highly relevant.

One way that you can get ahead of your competitors and the similar keywords they use for their sites is by using two or three word phrases rather than single keywords that are searched more often. Look at your competitors source code when you view their sites and notice what keyword phrases they are using or not using, and what tags they have that contain or do not contain important keywords. If their sites are lacking in some way, you can gain an edge on them by doing what they have not. You should also keep tabs on your own website statistics by finding out what keywords your website visitors are using to find your site. That way you will know which keywords generate the most hits and which you should be using more or less of. If you follow these tips and ensure your site has quality content on all of its pages, you will have competitors trying to get ahead of you!

No matter what kind of article writer you are, finding new ideas for articles is always a challenge. Well, here are some resources to help you accelerate your topic research:

Authority sites

Think Entrepreneur for the business niche, About for all topics, and the Warrior forum for the Internet marketing niche! There's always authority sites, no matter what topic you are writing about. So go use that wonderful tool called Google to find these sites if you are writing about a totally new 'alien' topic.

Blogs

Find some cool ideas from niche blogs and run with them. Respected authors and Internet gurus often post some informative content on their blogs. I'm not asking you to plagiarize their content, not at all! But find some ideas you can spin article topics out of.

Yahoo Answers

This is an absolutely great tool for finding out your target market's problems. Just imagine, people are asking questions to their problems here! Targeted Article Marketing - Uncover 4 Exciting Steps to Advance with Article Marketing

If you are looking for a marketing tool that can virtually do it all - drive traffic to your website, improve your page ranking, position yourself as an expert on your chosen field, augment your sales potentials, and secure more sales - article marketing will work best for you.

Here are the 4 exciting steps to advance with article marketing:

1. Do not advertise on your content. Instead, strive to provide valuable information that will be useful and relevant to the needs and demands of your potential clients. Talk about their problems, issues that are affecting the niche to which they belong to, and possible solutions that can improve the quality of their lives. When you are able to educate and help you readers, they are more likely to trust you and consider doing business with you.

2. Improve your writing skills. The quality of the content of your articles is the major element that will determine the success of your article marketing strategy. Thus, it is vital that you continuously hone your writing skills to ensure that you will be able to deliver better articles each time you write.

3. Pick topics that are closely related to your products. In writing your articles, you must remember that one of your main goals is to sell your products and that it would help if the topics you write about are related to your offerings. This will make it easier for you to attract targeted traffic that can lead to improved sales potential.

4. Your articles must be scannable. As a writer, you have to accept the fact that most online users do not usually read articles word for word. They usually scan through the content to find specific information that they will find valuable to their concern and interests. To make it easier for them to read your articles, make them scannable. Use subheadings, short paragraphs, bullet points, and numbered lists whenever appropriate.

Keyword Rich Content is What Hungry Search Engines Look For

Search engines like content that is rich in keywords. Although, there is no denial to the fact that graphics and images give your site a cool and pleasing looks, its not what the search engines are interested in. Such a site cannot attract a search engine or surprisingly even a searcher for that matter. But content has that attractive power. Search engines are not all that different from people.

When faced with an array of choices, they want to know which sites are the best and the best sites are the ones that give the most accurate and relevant information.

What you should know when you want to use your website as prey to the search engine spiders:

Good Content Can Assist the

-Search engines to place your website high for the specific keywords and phrases which are included in your content. It can be content in the articles that you submit to article submission directories with keyword url links or those that are there in your articles present on your site or even the content on the web pages itself

-The users to your website, and they in turn recommend your site to others

-Keyword optimized content will help other sites to link to your site, and this improves your link popularity and give your website more visibility chance to the search engine spiders.

Is it easy to get good content? It is indeed easy, by writing with optimized keywords and phrases that your prospective visitors actually use on a search query. It is not difficult as it sounds. Anyone can learn to write for search engine spiders and it takes a little planning as well as some good investigation. Given hereunder are some steps that will help you writing like a pro just like that.

Identify the keywords and phrases you want to target-you need to know which are the keywords and key phrases relevant to your website, product that you are promoting or service thereof and there are many keyword tools that can help you (some for free and some for little cost) and you can research on Internet for the same.

One more way to find keywords is by seeing server log of your website that will tell the phrases searchers are typing to come to your site.

You have to sprinkle your chosen keywords and phrases throughout your web pages and other content and even in ad texts. For instance one of the keywords you want to target is Craig Garcia. You will want to weave this phrase throughout your copy without making it sound artificial or unreadable. Insert them where they naturally fit, without compromising with the flow of the entire content.

Review your headings, content as well as hyperlinks. Use your keywords in heading, subtitles, page titles, bold face and hyperlinks, because these stand out well for the search engine spiders.

You may also post your articles on article submission directories and spread the word about your site, get some back links and even some inexpensive publicity.

Article Marketing - 5 High Impact Steps to Make Money Through Article Marketing

Article marketing is still the best way to make money over the World Wide Web. Whether you are into affiliate marketing or selling your own products, this amazing promotional tool can drive quality traffic to your website or to your product page that can easily augment your sales potential and your revenue.

Here are the 5 high impact steps to make money through article marketing:

1. Absolute URLs or anchor texts? Which is more effective in driving readers to your website? Based on researches and various studies, people respond better to anchor texts because they are based on keywords that people can easily identify with. Use them on your resource box to increase your conversation rate.

2. Start your articles with great titles. The first element that your potential readers will see on your article is your title. You have to make a great impression on this part or your content will be ignored. You must persuade online users to check on your articles by telling them upfront what is in store for them through your titles.

3. Know your competitors. To stand out above the rest and for you to take the lead, you must understand the strategies being used by people whom you are up against. Identify their weak points and adapt their strengths to improve your marketing strategies.

4. Write more. Strive to multiply the number of your output to easily increase the number of your inbound links. Just remember not to sacrifice the quality of your articles or your marketing strategies will go down the drain.

5. Solicit feedback. If your articles are not converting the way you expected them to, ask your readers or some experts on your chosen niche for feedback and recommendations.

Article Marketing - Are You Making These Mistakes?

Article Marketing is a great way to get the word out about yourself and your business. Even people that have never written before are finding success writing short informative articles and marketing them through Article Directories. The great thing is you don't have to be a professional writer to benefit from this Internet based form of marketing. It's simply a matter of writing about something you know or are interested in, and writing your article as if you were talking to a friend sitting next to you. While I believe just about anyone is capable of writing an article that is worthy of being published, there are a few things to avoid when writing your article to keep it from winding up on the publishing scrap pile.

Of all the mistakes that writers make, gross spelling errors is one of the most blatant. When I speak of spelling errors, I'm not talking about the occasional misspelling of a word, or using the word in the wrong context like using 'there' instead of 'their' but we are talking about articles that are written as if the writer has never opened a dictionary before. The thing is, there really is no reason to submit an article full of misspelled words. All one needs to do, is use a 'spell checker' to proofread their article. Some article directories like 'Ezine Articles' even provide a free spell checker that will let you check your spelling before submitting the article. No matter how good you think your spelling is, my advice is to use a spell checker before submitting your article. I always use one before I submit an article, and I'm amazed at the spelling errors I find in my writings.

Another mistake that writers make is writing an article that is either too long or too short. You want to try and get in the habit of saying what you have to say as concisely as possible. I usually try to compose my articles with a structure of 5-7 paragraphs and word count of between 400-700 words. Any less than 400 words, and most newsletter publishers and owners of websites won't bother to use it for publication. It's the same with articles that run on forever. Remember, you are not writing a book, you just want to compose a short, entertaining or informative article that others will read and hopefully post on their website. Your goal is to have your article distributed around the Internet as much as possible. Keeping your articles short but concise will help you to accomplish this goal.

One of the most egregious errors that I see some authors make is the misuse of the 'Resource Box'. It's a shame to see a well written article about some topic only to see the Resource Box not being used properly. For instance, if you're writing an article about Tropical Fish, you wouldn't want to include a link in your Resource Box that takes the visitor to a site that tells them how they can save money on their taxes with a piece of software. You want to link the information in the Resource Box to the article as much as possible. If you are writing a somewhat general article about making money, you're probably safe in linking to most other sites about making money in one form or another. On the other hand, if your article is written about a particular niche, then use the Resource Box to send your visitors to a website that relates to what your article is about.

Another vital ingredient to Article Marketing success is submitting your articles to the right Article Directories. There are literally thousands of directories to submit your articles to on the Internet. While some people will suggest that you submit your articles to as many directories as possible, I try and submit my articles to the highest ranked directories on the Internet. The reasons for this are not only because you receive more visitors from these directory sites, but your articles will oftentimes receive a higher page ranking by the search engines which leads to long term traffic for you. One technique I use to check on the effectiveness of an article directory is after submitting an article, going back a week or two later to check on the article stats. If I find that the article is waiting to be reviewed or hasn't been downloaded much, then I'll most likely avoid submitting any more articles to that directory in the future.

Article Marketing can be a great way to bring traffic to your website. If done properly, your article can bring you traffic for years to come. While your article writing probably won't lead to a new career as a novelist, it can lead to greater exposure for you and increased profit.

Powerful Article Marketing - Revealed - 4 Effective Secrets to Jumpstart Your Article Marketing

Are you thinking of using article marketing as your advertising tool in promoting your business and marketing your products in the World Wide Web. Well, I'd say you have made a wise decision as it is the most efficient and cost-effective marketing tool in the internet today.

Here are the 4 effective secrets to jumpstart your article marketing:

1. Use striking titles. Your headlines are one of the elements that can either make or break your marketing efforts. These can be your greatest tool in getting online users to open and read your articles. Thus, it is very important that your titles are attention-grabbing, interesting, direct to the point, and communicate the readers' benefits.

2. Content. This is what will be the deciding factor of online users if they will read, pick up, and republish your articles. If your content is well-written, useful, interesting, fact-based, and direct to the point, you can be assured that your articles will be widely distributed.

3. Target market. You also need to make sure that your articles are targeted and relevant to your potential readers' needs. After all, they will be the one who will read your articles so you might as well make your content beneficial for them. If you can consistently do this, your readers will not only support your other articles but also, they will most likely to consider doing business with you.

4. Article submission sites. In writing your articles, you need to consider the rules and terms of service set forth by publishing sites to increase the chances of your articles being posted online. Some of their requirements are the following: your articles must run 300-500 words, they must be free from blatant advertisements and sales pitch, they must not have hyperlinks on the article body, they must not contain inappropriate content, etc.

Marketing Strategies - How to Test Your Advertising!

Once upon a time, only major corporations and Fortune 500 companies took the time to test their advertising. But as small business owners become more savvy-and the cost of advertising continues to rise-testing the effectiveness of ads, whether in print or on the web, is one of those marketing strategies that just makes sense.

First of all, you'll want to determine exactly where you want to spend your hard-earned cash. Think about your target market-i.e., the people with the highest likelihood of being interested in the products or services you're offering. What publications are they reading? What websites are they visiting? Depending on how targeted your market is, trade publications may be an inexpensive option in terms of print advertising, while numerous high-traffic websites are oriented around a specific profession and/or interest that may place its visitors within your target market.

Next, you'll need to design your ads. Whether you work with a graphic designer or have the skills and know-how to do it yourself, creating a range of possible designs is key-because once you have them, you can use them to solicit high-quality input from your friends, colleagues, and employees.

Once you have 5-7 designs in hand, you'll want to get them in front of as many people as possible. Have individuals pick out their top three designs, then hand them a red marker-to mark the things they don't like, on each of those three ads-and a green marker-to mark the things they do.

Once you've used this info to select the 2 or 3 most popular designs (and strengthen them, by addressing the negatives) it's time to submit your ads to the websites/publications you've chosen.

Here's the key, though: always advertise in more than one (roughly equivalent) publication or website, and make sure to include a different contact .url and/or phone number on each ad. (This could simply be a different page off your main website-or, in the case of a phone contact, a number that routes to your main number with a different ring, a service that can be provided by your local phone company.)

That way, you'll actually be able to track the number of impressions you've created with each ad, and the number of actual sales each ad has generated.

Once you've let these ads run for a while-three months is generally considered a minimum amount of time for an effective run-you can compile the results you've received from each ad. If one ad has generated at least 5% more impressions/sales than either of the other two, you've got a clear indication that it's more effective in terms of design and appeal.

You may want to continue advertising in one of the publications/websites that produced lesser results for you-but switch your ad design to the one that produced a higher return, in order to make sure you're getting the most out of your advertising budget.

Testing your advertising is a great way to get a handle on which marketing strategies have the most pull within your target market.

So go ahead-create some great, dynamite advertising, and watch those sales roll in.

Marketing Article - Why Write Marketing Articles?

At this point, I am going to assume that you write articles. So why write marketing articles?

I think that one of the reasons is that people are looking for marketing articles they want to learn how to do marketing, especially online marketing, web marketing, article marketing, etc.

When you write marketing articles and post them online to the various article directories, including the one this one was originally posted to, you gain web traffic via the search engines.

You see, people online search the web, and they generally will read the articles that come up in the top ten results of their search results in the search engine they used. And the big article directories, especially the one that this was originally published on, have the page rank to get your article to the top ten results, especially for 2nd and 3 rd tier and long tailed keywords.

So when you write marketing articles, you get world wide readership and that can mean world wide visitors to your web site. An astonishing number of the people that visit my web site, although I am in the US, are in countries all around the world. Literally all around the world. I think I have subscribers in every continent around the world maybe excluding Antarctica so if you are in Antarctica you know what to do!

Anyhow, write marketing articles, submit them to the top 5 article directories (or at least just the one this one was published first to) and watch the traffic roll in. By the way, you have to write more than 2 or 3!

Powerful and Effective Link Building - Catapult Your Search Engine Rankings

One of the most powerful aspects of Search Engine Optimization is link building. Proper link building for the purpose of rankings uses Targeting Links. Targeting Links are one of the most effective approaches, as the links pass PageRank, and are already proven to rank your competitors. The Old School terminology for this approach is called Stealing your competitors rankings.

Top SEO Companies use this method when developing top-tier marketing strategies for their clients and even their own websites. It is also the most time consuming approach to link building, but it is one of the most powerful methods of producing results.

Define your keyword targets:
Each and every link you build needs to have a keyword target when using this approach. Target a single keyword first. See whos ranking in the top ten on your favorite Search Engine (SE) for this keyword or keyword phrase. All of those sites contain your link targets. The sites that link to them, their backlinks, are more powerful than any link that is built for the sole purpose of link popularity. These are targeted links and have much more power to rank websites. Now the keyword that these sites rank for is the Anchor Text that you want to use on your link on these targeted websites.

Now that we have your keyword target, we need to consider whether the link is really a quality link, or a spam site. Determining this is harder for the layman than the experienced marketer as some sites that show in the backlinks are obvious spammers or websites that are trying to make a buck from Pay Per Click advertising. As a general rule these have low or no PageRank (PageRank 0/10), and always have a ton of ads first. Ignore these links, as they will be temporary or detrimental to this process. Finding the quality websites in your competitors backlinks is very important. You need to weed out the garbage.

Choose the websites that have some PageRank and appear to be quality sites, if you find some sites in common when checking backlinks on multiple competitors, then those are the important links, and you should do whatever you have to do to get a link from it. Consider a reciprocal if all else fails.

Now the hard part, how do you get your link on their page next to your competitor? How can you get the link to you without returning it? Since everyone is so link popularity aware, you need to present a quality proposal to the webmaster to gain a link. You need to be a quality addition for the webmaster to want to add the link. Nowadays, its rare that any site will give a link without returning one. In 1999 before the Link Popularity Search Engines, this was not the case, webmasters linked to whoever they wanted to and paid no attention to reciprocal link exchanges. So how can we get a link without returning one?

Heres a smart approach. For any link that you are targeting, you really need to try and attempt to offer the webmaster a real reason on why he should add the link. Proving that your website is a valuable resource and one-of-a-kind, is a possible way to still get a free link, and a free targeted link is a powerful link. One-way links are important for any site as it is the model of the Authority Domains. These sites have hundreds to thousands of one-way links, and very few if any reciprocal links. So you should try through whatever methods of one-way link building that you want to use, to get these targeted links without reciprocating. But a reciprocal link is better than no link.

Combine this method with blind link building (random reciprocals links), press releases and even article writing (like this one) and your site will achieve better rankings, better traffic and if your site is truly effectiveit will prosper.

Article Marketing - A Brief Scenario

To begin with, Article Marketing has increasingly assumed a lot of importance as an effective and indispensable SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategy. Seasoned Search Engine Optimizers are recommending as well as practicing this strategy extensively in order to promote the business interests of their clients. And they are not doing it as a matter of beating the line. They are actually creatively promoting their client's website, bringing in potential business and consequent optimized turnover.

Seriously speaking, the web marketers face a dare devil job of promoting a website out of a flood of other websites promoting identical products and services. The direct fall out of anonymity of a website is the flat defeat of its purpose, which is to make profit. The web presence of any website is largely determined by how the website fares in the SERPs (Search Engine Rank Pages) at Google, Yahoo, MSN and other search engines. The fact or rather the objective, in turn, emphasizes on quantity of quality inbound links to the website in question. And Article Marketing presents itself as a competent answer.

In Article Marketing, a website submits informative articles that revolve around the basic subject or business of the website. The articles contain a resource box which contains a short bio of the website and a link to the website. As the websites to which the articles are submitted, are basically established forums, blogs and e-magazines, they have their own faithful following of readers. Further, Google and other search engines search out these web articles for their informational value and closely matching keywords. These articles hit many birds in the bush with a single stone.

Article Marketing helps build up brand equity for the website, which is a domino effect of link popularity and high esteem enjoyed by the website as an expert. The articles serve as confidence building measures that reinforce the creditability and utility of the website in the minds of its customers and prospects. With strengthened publicity, the website gradually becomes a name to reckon with in the business sphere.

What's more, Article Marketing is incredibly economical in nature and has the least toll on the marketing budget of any website. To undertake article marketing, all the site needs to do is write quality articles on subjects relevant to the business of the website and submit these articles to maximum of web based forums, blogs and ezines. These websites are always seeking informative articles free of cost. Some of them may charge a nominal amount to further the articles to other forums/ blogs/ e-zines.

Article Marketing also saves the website from some major ordeals that are otherwise required by regular sales and marketing strategies. No website enjoys making cold calls or face-to-face sales appointments to sell their products and services. Article marketing comfortably rescues the websites from indulging into these hard-to-do marketing stunts, as well as, saves financial resources in the process.

As the option of article marketing is open to all, the quality of articles finally dictates the value of the articles and the magnitude of exposure. So, it is important to pay attention to the quality of content submitted through these articles. With consistency in quality of content, the website is able to establish itself as an expert author. This in itself translates the website getting maximum readers and that too instantly upon posting. Moreover, the overall reputation as an expert author adds prestige to the website's articles when they are submitted to various blogs, forums and ezines.

Internet Based - Affiliate Marketing - Article Marketing

How does writing Articles fit into Internet Marketing?

One of the main strategies that I have used when I first started Internet Marketing was writing Articles. In fact this article that you are reading now was created on a Article based web site called EzineArticles.com. There are many pros to writing articles and putting them out online to help you with your Internet Based - Affiliate Marketing.

With the new Web 2.0 and blogging sites popping up all over the internet today, it is quickly becoming the newest wave to hit the world wide web. Like it or not, it is here to stay. What Web 2.0 is all about, is social networking with like minded groups of people. This way people can belong to different blogs or groups that match their interests.

Well if you are good at writing, even the tiniest amount, then writing articles to put on blogs will help you on your marketing efforts. Articles, such as product reviews, specification documents, how-to, etc can all be used in conjunction with blogs and marketing your product or service.

The other great thing about article marketing is that it is free. This is truly a strategy that every beginning internet marketer should be using as it helps get your mindset focused on how to be creative in selling your product or service. The more you do it, the better you get, and ultimately when done right, the more money you will make. This is such a great strategy that everyone from beginners to pros need to be consistent with as you want to market to the pulse of the audience that you are targeting.

Why I recommend also recommend article marketing because you can earn money to fund more advanced strategies like PPC (pay per click). This is a very smart move on your part to do it this way. Too many people try Internet Marketing by using their hard earned dollars first, then jump right in and spend, spend, spend on course that is out there. Tossing money at PPC is also highly risky when you do not know what you are doing. What happens is you get frustrated, broke and give up. Don't let this happen to you. Go the article marketing route, get the pleasure of earning some cash, then use that money to fund your business. It is a win-win at this point.
